RTS West of England Best Composer 2017 nomination for William Goodchild

Restless Creatives is thrilled to announce that William Goodchild’s score for Jago: A Life Underwater is nominated for this year’s RTS West of England Best Composer Award. This is for the best composition of original music across all genres, alongside David Arnold and Michael Price (Sherlock: The Abominable Bride), John Bowen (Sixteen) and Hans Zimmer, Jacob Shea, Jasha Klebe and Russell Emanuel (Planet Earth 2). William also received a RTS nomination last year for Best Composer, for Icon Pictures’ Return of the Giant Killers.

Jago: A Life Underwater has received eight nominations in total for Best Documentary Programme or Series, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Sound, Best Design, Best Editing, Best Grading, as well as William’s nomination for Best Composer. Jago – a Life Underwater is an Underdog Films Production in association with James Morgan Films, Fantomline Pictures and Vistaar Productions. Widely acclaimed, the film won the prestigious Grand Teton Award at Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival 2015.

The Royal Television Society West of England Awards, in association with Evolutions Bristol, celebrates talent and creativity in the categories of drama, digital creativity, craft, on-screen talent, natural history, regional television news and across a range of factual programming. The winners of this year’s awards will be announced at the Bristol Old Vic on Sunday March 19th. We wish William, James and all the team the very best of luck!
