BBC Two Gorilla Family & Me – score by William Goodchild

William Goodchild has scored the latest of the Family and Me series for BBC Two. In Gorilla Family and Me, Gordon Buchanan travels to the Democratic Republic of Congo to meet a family of rare Grauer’s gorillas.

The second part of this ‘rare insight’ into the parenting dynamic of the Earth’s largest primates will be broadcast on 27th December at 9pm. Gordon returns to the jungle to discover if Chimanuka the silverback triumphed over his rival. The gorilla family now face a more daunting threat from poachers and this episode highlights the work of the local rangers, trying to prevent these magnificent creatures from coming to harm.
